advanced structural and pipework analysis

Vessel type motions can be incorporated into a DyNoFlex time history analysis using RAOs (Response amplitude operators). The RAO motions can be applied to and define the motion of any node within a model.

This makes vessel overboard analysis i.e. crane hook and wave interaction a relatively straightforward task.

By using non-linear couple elements to connect to surface nodes (RAO activated) floatation effects can be included (similar to strip theory) in any model. This feature can be used to model pipeline tows etc.

Regular and random sea states may be applied during the time history solution.
